The Concept robotic car for army bomb diffusual squad.
Hello friends, this is my first article in the college magzine.hope you will all enjoy this concept robot.
This robot is devloped and furnished by me(vibhor gulati) and my friend rahul talwar.
We got this idea while we were watching 'dus' movie in which a bomb diffusual squad is called to search bomb and diffuse it.
Ovbiously its a movie so they were succesful in diffusing the bomb.
But considering the real life situations in which a group of skilled men are required to go and to diffuse the bomb, sometimes they even fail to do so and we have to face a huge loss of life for that group of people, so to avoid this and to get rid of human interfernce for bomb diffusual we have made a tank tyre kit based robot, which can climb up flyover's very easily, it can even stay on it for whatever time you wish without slipping down.
This robot will include a mechanical arm which will run on stepper motors by computer programing,this mechanical arm will help to lift the unidentifed objects easily,this robo will also include a CMU camera, this is special type of camera which can even detect colours , but its primary use is to show the picture of the bomb site.
This robo will be a RADIO FREQUENCY(RF)operated robot ,Its range would be around 500m.

The next concept which can be introduced in this robot is ARTIFICAL INTELLIGENCE, in this the robot will be fitted witha microcontroller which acts as a brain of the robo, this brain will store all the information,distances,etc. Provided.
Now for instance if i start this robot from our college enterance gate and command it to go to admin block and then come back at same place so it will star moving in those given directions stored in its mind(micro-controller),now if by chance some one kicks or change the position of the robot, our robot will automatically position itself back on the path programmed.
Also, This robot can cross hurdles very easily and can run over from the site very quickly(like a cunning fox)
Its maximum Speed on 12V supply is around 5 m/s.
we have used four D.C. GEARED MOTORS,tank tyre kit,chassis(sheet metal),joystick buttons for easy movement of the robot.
